Re: 2016 Playoff Thread
Down to a eight point Cav lead with 5 minutes left in the first half. Warriors not giving up. I have no dog in this race, but damn I sure do want to see LeBron lose.

Not liking the way GSW playing. They just do not have confidence in themselves

Bob,
That is the damnest definition of neutrality I've ever heard.

Upon further review I guess I am strongly rooting for the Warriors!

Sorry gang. LeBron is playing like a champion. Cavs deserve huge props, even if they lose tonight.
Re: 2016 Playoff Thread
This is over. The Warriors look awful, they have that deer in the headlights look

Now he isn't taunting there??????? Funny how the king gets away with whatever he wants. He is playing great, I will not say that he isn't but I still can't stand him..

That sound you just heard is the momentum shifting to the Cavs.

You think they would really pull that and suspend him? I can't believe the NBA would be that sickening to pull that.
They definitely lost composure and confidence in each other. So much for the greatest team ever.
Did anyone watch that special last night on the 86 team? Really fun, brought back memories. Solidifies in my mind that that team would definitely beat GSW.. I also had a chuckle listening to Maxwell with his sour grapes about being traded. Claimed 87 Lakers were better than 86 Celtics. He really sounded like a guy with a chip on his shoulder.

Rosalie that 86 team vs this Warrior team would be a cakewalk for us, like eating a cream puff. It would be a 4-1 5 game series.

This is a historic performance that we are seeing from LeBron.
Game 7 should be a grinding, smash mouth game. To me, that means advantage LeBron and Cleveland.
Harrison Barnes has probably cost himself millions this summer by his lousy play in the Finals.
If Cleveland wins, will LeBron stay in Cleveland?

Barnes started out the playoffs pretty good, but he has faded away. He is just a bench player who can get hot when the pressure isn't on him. I want no part of him. Same with Love. Can't handle the limelight

Warriors lost 9 games in the regular season.
They might lose 9 games just in these playoffs.

Re: 2016 Playoff Thread
Coincidence Lebron goes for 40 back to back in the game Bogut goes down and then doesn't play? Warriors made big mistake starting small, should have went with Ezeli, then went small later like they usually do.

Re: 2016 Playoff Thread
Obviously Lebron is now bigger than whomever GSW puts on the court when they go small, and he can just eat that up in the paint. Kerr is outsmarting himself with the excessive small ball stuff. Live by the three. Die by the three.
Re: 2016 Playoff Thread
One game for all the marbles. Wow. Who would have thought a week ago we'd make it to Father's Day.
It really comes down to whether GSW can stop the bleeding and get back to what got them to 73-9. If Kerr has to make a change in the lineup with Ezieli starting, then do it. All bets are off in a Game 7 and I believe this is where it will come down to coaching and coaching only. And clearly, Kerr slaughters Lue here.
Like Doc Rivers said, nobody, no team, no player wants it more than anybody else. The players are clearly equal here. The teams are equal. 3-3. The GSW's have the edge. The warts for both teams are still the same. The only thing I find concerning is compared to the WCF, GS now has the other shoe on their foot. They are the team that ran up 3-1 and now with one home game left, the series comes down to one game, winner takes all. Will history repeat itself and GSW loses 3 in a row? Seems a very disappointing way to end the greatest season of all time. Probably not going to happen.
So coaching is all that is left. I'm glad Curry reacted the way he did. Kerr probably should have done it, but it was overdue. Lue will panic and blow it Sunday. His inexperience will shine through.
But all that aside, it will be a great finish to a great series. Should have been best of 9.

dbrown,
I agree, however, GS was down in the semi-finals and came back strong. I think there is something there! At least I hope.

Finally, some real emotion from Curry. Now if his partner in crime shows the same emotion, I think they will pull it off. That being said, the same could be said for Cleveland. This is quite a finish to the season.
Now, if the draft night has this much emotion, who knows what will happen. These are fun times for basketball.
