I thought we could congregate here with observations or predictions of this years playoffs.

I’m gonna predict the first upset, I predict Nets will beat 76ers, Russell, Dinwiddie and Lavert will all have big series....and 76ers will play tight. BROOOOKKKLYYNNN BROOOOKKKLYYNNN BROOOOKKKLYYNNN!!!!!!

Just calculated the average PER of the 76ers starting 5 - 19.8. They should either be a better team or PER is an overblown stat. Probably both...

One down, 3 to go. The schadenfreude I would feel if the 76ers lose this series...

Earlier I posted the average PER of the 76ers starting 5 is ~20, for the nets, it is ~15.

I was not home, but when I got in, turned on the tv and saw that Embid did end up playing. From what I saw, this. Was a very lack luster game for Philly, in their own arena. I have said all year, they do not scare me.

Cow, you may be right, if Brooklyn keeps it up, this could be done in five or six, and the 76er’s will be going home again.

Shocking that Orlando beat the Raptors with three of their main players having awful games. Aaron Gordon was 3-10, Vucevic 3-14 and Terrence Ross was 2-11. And they still won. Perennial playoff bust Kyle Lowrey was 0-7, (0-6 on threes) for 0 points and lived down to his post-season reputation.

He is 1 3pt fgm away from tying Ray Allen's record of 385 3pt fgm in the playoffs.  But Steph has only played in 91 games and Ray needed 171 games.

Really? the Nets are younger, deeper and more athletic, can get to their spots easier to hit their shots. 76ers have no identity and can’t defend, see how many open uncontested mid range shots Nets got all game? Plus they gave up a lot of wide open 3’s too, Tobias Harris is a terrible defender as is Redick at this stage of his career. Play Simmons to pass and he is very ineffective as he can’t score/shoot. Embid already looks like an old man. I don’t think the 76ers can clean all this up, Brett Brown is not that good a coach.

Nets/Sixers game revealed that the Nets are a lot quicker Same reason why the Sixers can't beat us. This has the makings of an upset. Sixers looked totally demoralized.

Is Lowery going to have a bad series here? Magic with a very strong opening salvo. I still expect the Raptors to win that series.

If Curry keeps shooting like that LAC can forget it. LAC are feisty team but they do not have enough talent to beat GSW

Denver may get wiped out by SA and Pop now.....they remind me of Atlanta a few years ago....regular season big dogs,,,playoff losers. I don't think anyone from that team has won a title.

but we'll see if they can bounce back...awful young all around except Millsap.

They can’t defend, no one on that team defends, thats why they get killed by GS everytime.
