The other day Marcus said he would watch ESPN news.......until they spoke about LeBron..............they were in baseball highlights and suddenly just about 2 minutes later there he was.

So he goes to team x with perhaps another big name. Who or what could any team afford to fill out a bench? They may have cap space now but won't for some time after.

i'm going to have to miss this life altering 1 hr press conference for King Nothing, regretably i think i scheduled that same time slot to bite my toenails or something.

i realize that later in life when my kids and grandkids ask me where i was when King Nothing had his press conference and declared wher'ed he play after having enjoyed being a free agent and having the universe tuned into his every meeting that biting my toenails (or something) might sounds rather weak and uneventfull, but sometimes u gotta man up and do what ya gotta do ya know...

I agree, Cleveland it is.

The first reason is money. Bird rights pays more in this case then max contract. Quite a lot more.

The second reason is the perception of team leadership and his overall legacy.

Miami is Wade's team. Can't join him there.
Knicks are now Almare's team. That's fools gold.
Bulls have some nice pieces in place, but with MJ and all, it'd be hard to beat 6.
The Nets have a firey owner who has even a bigger ego than bron and not much more.

bron must be the center of the universe.

With Cleveland, bron will make the most money. Let the other big free agents take a little less for the priviledge of playing with him. His legacy demands that it is him that brings the championship home.

Just when I was about to give LeBron credit for cancelling the NY All-Star dinner party last week, he goes and pulls this crap, or worse yet, let's it happen.

This is like pulling teeth hoping this "poor" guy sees the light and wakes up in time to see the headlight from the 2,000 mile an hour train that is moving toward him. Painfully slow learner.

I don't think he would be going through all this "trouble" if it weren't Cleveland. I think I may record it, go to ESPN News @ 10:00PM for the quick synopsis and then just go back and skim through the whole show afterwards. It will be entertaining, though!

Truly amazing for someone who hasn't done Jack...Billy Jack, that is. But we're stuck with that, you and I.

All the Cavs fans will jump for joy.

Then he'll rock their world.

He'll announce he's signing a four year deal to play tight end for the Browns.

I think a few months ago some creative minds at Disney got an idea: you, Lebron, keep you mouth shut no matter what you decide, we will create a show and find advertisers; when the public interest simmers to the boiling point we'll release the show. Everybody gets their cut.

As long as we're betting (I've been to a casino once in my life, but only for the lunch buffet after golf; true story)...

2-1 on Cleveland; LT deal for bigger $ and he'll be young enough to go looking elsewhere if he needs a ring after that expires.

even odds on Miami; reportedly have Bosh & are the only ones that could make workable offers to Wade, Bosh and James trio.

If I was a Cavs fan and LeBron went somewhere else, I would boycott everything he touches, sponsors and endorses.

Cleveland might have the economic throwweight of a Nerfball, but the entire state of Ohio is quite a bit more and if the rest of us, who hate disloyal, self-promoting primadonnas, join the act then maybe we can actually sting the SOB in his wallet and make a good "general values" point as well.
