ATL is a good young team. They don't have many players that I absolutely wouldn't want to see in a C's uniform. Maybe Bibby, but that's just because of the shots he took at Celtics fans two years ago, not necessarily because of his skills.

LeBron's quotes to ESPN today show someone may be getting through to him. Money not the #1 issue. We will see.

OK, jeb and others. I just saw the quote from LeBron that officially takes him out of the running for ever under any circumstances becoming a Celtic. He's talking about Michael, #23 debacle.
"He can't get the logo [Hall of Famer Jerry West's silhouette adorns the NBA's logo], and if he can't, something has to be done. I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. I'm starting a petition, and I've got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it. Now, if I'm not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it."
Last sentence sums it up. All about me. Goodbye championship in Cleveland, good bye championship ever. Complete douche. Great player, will never get a ring. I see what you mean, Jeb

It is somewhat sad. It is starting to sort of freak me out. It's like watchin a car wreck. I watched that game last night and was pretty much horrified. It's getting way worse at light speed.
He is only 24 but the whole thing looks gruesome to me. Van Gundy was talking about how everyone was 'overreacting" to the whole handshake deal. Geeze. The money train is not something anybody wants to jump in front of. Jordan's comments at hof induction would have been glossed over if he was still putting half the economy in his pocket. To some degree they were glossed over anyway.
I can dig that it is a business. I get that. But it's something more as well. Within the whole deal it is best understood as a team sport. That is why we all love Celts so much because this kind of happy crappy would never ever never ever be tolerated.
That is why we pull against superstar me first teams.
In the last moments of the Cavs games I have seen this year young LeBron didn't even see his team. Against the Bulls it cost him the game.
Nobody is bigger than the game.
Anyway I hope he pulls out of this ugly turf he is trodding upon.
