On the surface these pieces don't fit IF we are looking to rebuild/reload around Rondo. I would much rather have seen Moultrie, Perry Jones or even Quincy Miller, all of whom would seem to have a skillset that would click with Rondo and Avery. Sullinger I'm okay with because he at least has a low post game and a high basketball IQ, Melo pick, I HATE!

Looking for the silver lining here, both Sullinger and Melo should be fantastic on the boards.

Sullinger will not get moved off his spot.

I would have been happy with Moultrie and Melo, wonder why Moultrie dropped so far? I have an idea why Perry Jones dropped.

For bigs these guys are not slow, and in order to run you have to get the ball. More to come later I sort of doubt we have both when all is said and done.

Well, the jury's out on Melo in my opinion. Apparently, he's far and away the best post defender in the draft. And the Celtics' interior defense was very porous this season, especially with KG on the bench. Also, I'm really tired of trying to force PFs into the center position. At least, Fab has a legitimate center's physique. I suspect at least some of his problems at school related to his acclimating to a new country and a new language over the past four years.

Sullinger, even healthy isn't the PF stud I was hoping for. But, with his wingspan, he seems to be the type of player who will mix it up and play a little taller than he is.

There's no question that, when Royce White went, the gas went out of my balloon. But I'm still hoping for the best with this duo and am happy that they didn't select guards.

I'm outta here. The bar I'm in changed every TV to something else. 5 TVs and they put them all on one thing and not the draft.

I swear to God, I didn't tell them I was a Celtic fan. They didn't change them after the Celtics were done picking because they knew.

DA has a plan. I was looking for instant gratification. Football teams are made with the big guys in the trenches. Basketball teams need those big men to contol the territory around the basket and to get rebounds. They aren't always glamorous, but are a must to make it to the championship series.
