Kick him in the rear on his way out but he’s got the last laugh. He has his dead brother’s music catalogue to fall back on.

He couldn't even crack the top five, but he got signed to a NBA contract, that ain't chump change.

We can say goodbye, we don't want him back, he can walk right now.  He Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing.

Okay, I'll stop.

LOL, Sing for your dinner sir! lol

Looks like Terrance Ross will be added to the Suns from an ORL buyout.

PHX with their new owner has clearly made an initial splash and pushed EVERYTHING all-in for this one year.  After that, PHX will be a ghost town team for the next 15 years minimum given the leverage.  What a shame.  Boston will pull the rug out from beneath them if they even make it that far.  1976 all over again, hopefully sans the 3OT.  New owner about to learn the hard way.  Have to admire him right out of the gate but here comes the brick wall for the young whippersnapper.

Really looking forward to these playoffs given all that has happened.  2nd rounds in both conferences very well may be the best of all time.

Still a bit afraid of the Virginia Cavaliers Humiliating Loss Prior Season to Champion Next Season Syndrome potential story train wrecking our Banner 18 and gathering steam.  Wyc, Brad, SIASJ and the team know what's at stake.  That's our all-in and like it or not, trade moves made or not, extra wing guy or not, that's what we've got.  I like it.

I still haven't heard the "D" word from anything coming out of PHX post-trade.  I can really predict with great accuracy for future teams that had a great regular season with all the scoring power and great players came roaring into the playoffs and quickly left with their proverbial tails between their legs. While it could still happen, the record for banner collection is still 0-X, where "x" approaches infinity.  That's the purpose of series basketball.  It weeds out the weak.  That never fails.

When PHX comes up short this year, they will turn to hobbled CP3 and ask does he have one more run in him.  He'll say "yes" of course, injury himself beyond repair in the first few weeks of the next season if he didn't do it in this playoff run and the fire sale will begin.  There's your trifecta.  Who wants to be a millionaire?

P.S.  I think Doris Burke was pointing out recently how there are far more championship teams that built their teams internally like the way the Celtics have done it, using draft picks, etc. vs. teams buying/stacking it for a one and done super team like what PHX just did.  Food for thought.  We'll see.

If this was two years ago, I might have been a little jealous of Phoenix getting Ross. However, from what I have seen from him when we played Orlando, and from alot of what I have read, I wonder just how much he has left in the tank. He was a non factor in the games this year, where he would have had an opportunity to help "pile it on" when we were playing so lousy. Anyway, looks like they are going for broke

The Suns best defenders now reside in Brooklyn and Milwaukee. You’re right, they’ll have problems once the playoffs kick into high gear.
Cant really blame them loading up though. They’ve never won a chip and if they don’t do it now they may never get this close again for another 55 years.

Amended the title of this thread by adding Buyout.

It looks like Ross is heading to the Suns, Green to the Cavs and Barton to Dallas.

These players look at Boston as a team that goes 3 deep and they do not see a role for themselves.

Checking in on Tony Snell.  Through 6 games now his is average just under 10 per game while shooting 43.5% from deep on 3.8 attempts, along with  2 assists and 4 rebounds.

I think he very well may be that veteran wing player that is added.  The pickings to add a veteran wing are slim with guys not willing to take a seat at the end of the bench.  Even the strong prospect for getting a ring does not seem to be enough to motivate them.

I'm okay with Snell.  What about you?

I have watched Maine a few times in the last few weeks. Snell looks good since he joined the Maine team, in fact, on Saturday he was named player of the game. The other players who have played well are Valentine and (here I go again, dboss screwing his name up) Luca. Any of these players would be ok. No one is going to want to join the Celtics if they want any real playing time, and really? that is fine with me. The last thing we need is a disgruntled player. Give the time to the guys we have, let them get more and more confident. Muscala right now is looking like a good pick up. We are who we are

I'm guessing Mark Cuban is beginning to get that feeling previous franchises had and is experiencing a little Buyer's Remorse....DOH!!!

Sorry, Mark.  We sent you Cleveland, Boston and BKN.  Can't help stupid.

"Greed, for lack of a better word, is good."  We all know what happened to Gordon Gecko

"Why did you need to wreck this team?" "Because it was WRECKABLE!!"

"Luka Doncic and Irving passed the ball back and forth a few times before Irving coughed up a turnover just before the final buzzer."
