Re: Our Lakers Pick Lookin' Good
Dallas beat Orlando. Lakers beat the Kings.
Today's relevant games:

1. Atlanta 10-30, .250
2. Orlando 12-29, .293

Mike Conley of the Grizzlies, a game-changer for them, still has no timetable for return from his Achilles injury but he is back on the court doing non-contact drills. So, there's some hope there. Nikola Vucevic of Orlando will be out another 3-5 weeks with his broken hand. They are 1-9 in their last 10 games. The Magic suck so bad that the loss of one player can put them into a powerdive to the bottom. So, I expect Orlando to challenge Atlanta for dead last until Vucevic returns. The Hawks are without a front court, essentially. When Prince, Muscala and Dedmon return they should win more. Sacto's George Hill has missed two straight games for "personal reasons". He didn't play last night vs Lakers. One game, sure, but two games? Something's going on there, I sense.

Lakers pick looking not so good. They just won 4 in a row! Still, next year's Sacto pick is looking good. Maybe we'll need a little breathing space for cap room down the road.

Re: Our Lakers Pick Lookin' Good
Just read that Sacto still might trade Hill to Cleveland For Shumpert and Frye. Sacto is God-awful this year, and this trade will make them worse. Can't see them being much better next year, so even if the Laker's pick doesn't work out this year, we should still get a great pick eventually.

Re: Our Lakers Pick Lookin' Good
Lakers currently have the 9th worst record in the nba, and are 7 and 3 over the last 10 games. Chances of their pick landing between 2 and 5 seem poor unless they unload effective players at the trade deadline to clear cap space for the summer.
Worst case scenario is we wait until 2019, and get Sacto's pick...

Inn the long run the Sacto pick may give us some cap space breathing room, but I sure would like to get a big man in this draft from LA's pick.

I thought the 2019 pick would be either Sacto or Philly whichever is the highest but top 1 protected.

One thing to remember with #Lakerspick is the 76ers keep the pick if the Celtics don’t get it, so it’s actually good for Boston at this point that Lakers have just the 11th worst record.

I am thoroughly disappointed in how good the Lakers have been so far this season. Before the season I thought that they would have trouble winning 27 games.
Luke Walton may far exceeding my expectations of him and his team.

Beginning to wish Danny used that pick in a trade at the deadline, we will get nothing to speak of with it.
